Recycle ANY cartridge and get back $5 in Staples Rewards (recycling rewards) when you spend $59 that day on HP ink. The ink purchase reward is at the standard 10% rate of the net ink purchase. HP toner purchases do NOT qualifying for this offer.

Since this offer spans two months, it should be valid once for the month of September and once for the month of October.

So, standard members can recycle up to 10 carts at $5 per and premier members can recycle up to 20 carts at $5 per with a qualifying purchase of HP ink. Once again, for premier members it is sort of free ink on the rewards offer only.

Premier Rewards members purchasing a net $60 in HP ink and recycling 20 carts would receive:

$100 in recycling rewards (20 x $5)
$6 in purchase rewards (10% x $60)

Again, I do not know how the rebate limit is enforced.

Below is a safe example to qualify for both the $5 in recycling rewards and the $15 HP gas card rebate:

I've got a ZS3 (same camera but with HD video, HDMI output and a larger LCD screen) and it's an excellent camera. We especially appreciate the super-wide angle lens, which goes to 25mm at the the widest (35mm film camera equivalent), which we find useful about 5-10 times more often than the long super zoom, but with this camera, you've got a great lens at both ends of the spectrum. Most recent (i.e. 2006 or newer) point-and-shoot digital cameras have focused on cramming more megapixels in at the expense of low-light performance and added graininess in the photos, but this Panasonic is much better than most and takes good photos with less of the grainy, pixellated images I've seen from a number of Canon, Samsung and Kodak cameras I've tried in recent years. In particular, the close-up photos I've taken on the macro settings are outstanding, the best I've seen from any digital camera.

The camera has four relatively minor downsides:

1) No full manual controls (but plenty of scene settings)
2) Mode dial is on outside and occasionally shifts accidentally
3) Video is not HD like most 2010 model cameras - only 848x480, but should be better than typical VGA (640x480)
4) Must use Panasonic OEM batteries. But there is a work-around, by downgrading the firmware from vers.1.2 to 1.1 (only change with 1.2 was that it disabled use of non-Panasonic batteries). The benefit is that the Maximal Power third-party batteries are not just cheaper than Panasonic ones, but last around 1/3 longer, too. I JUST CALLED AND THEY ARE STILL HONORING THIS SALE, I DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO ASK ABOUT IT. THE WOMAN SAID IT WOULD BE LASTING A FEW MORE DAYS

I haven't had my XM activated for about year, so I got a letter that stated they were having a free 2 week trial for 60 of their channels commencing 11/17 - 11/30.

The letter then states at the bottom that if you sign up for a prepaid 5 month subscription you will receive all 170 channels for $19.99 (plus tax I imagine) - must sign up by 12/15/2009. Limit 4 subscriptions per account. Must cancel before the subscription is up to avoid the automatic monthly renewal.

Figured this wasn't a bad deal since the normal monthly cost is $12.95. And I assume that once the the initial 5 months are up you could negotiate another deal.

I know with XM its all about calling the right number, so if you are a current subscriber I would atleast give it a try.

Yesterday, I called Comcast to cancel my internet because I had just switched to Clear Wimax. Well, they immediately offered the $19.95/month for 12 months promotional rate that is usually only good for new customers.

I told them I'd think about it and cancelled the internet anyway.

Well, after using Wimax, I'm pretty impressed with their download speeds--I'm getting 9-11MB (I'm very close to a tower), but the upload speed is capped at 500kbps. This is a big negative because I use my slingbox regularly and need a faster up speed. Anywhoo, I called back today and the woman looked into the "campaign", as she called it, and sure enough, she put me on the discounted plan.

I have seen SquareTrade occasionally mentioned in threads here, so am surprised no one has ever posted a thread with discount codes before now. They offer extended warranties and accidental handling (ADH) on most new and refurbished electronic item purchases, and they are the only company I know of that will warranty most eBay purchases. They have also partnered with Woot! as well to cover items sold there.
